Lovexotic is an exotic celebration of world cultures. The evening will feature wines, spirits, signature hors d’oeuvres, dance and music from countries across the globe. The night will smell, taste, sound and feel like an evening in an exotic locale — a mélange of cultures that have a wealth of artistic heritage, lore, music and food traditions steeped in creativity and mystery.

Guests will be treated to a flight across the globe. Savor the distinct flavors offered in three different lounges featuring foods specifically created by Austin celebrity chefs and paired with wine and cocktails from region-specific wineries and liquor purveyors. Cocktails will be designed by Mixologists Mirjana “Mindy” Kucan, Bill Norris of Fino, and David Alan and Joe Eifler of Tipsy Texan.

Love Exotic event directly benefits Family By Choice a non-profit organization which provides adoption services for GLBT, singles, traditional, and non-traditional families throughout the State of Texas.

Aliseo’s Blood Orange juice has won the Gold Sofi in the category of Cold Beverage.

“Gold Winners were announced this evening for the 37th sofi Awards for the outstanding foods and beverages of the year. Presented by the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) the awards honor the outstanding specialty foods and beverages of the year in 33 categories. “sofi” stands for specialty outstanding food innovation.The awards were presented at the Summer Fancy Food Show by noted chef Ming Tsai at a red-carpet event at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.”

Austin, Texas (May 6, 2009) – Aliseo 100% Fresh Sqeezed Blood Orange Juice has been selected as a Silver Finalist in the 2009 Sofi Awards from the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade, Inc.  The Sofi Awards recognize excellence in specialty foods and beverages in 33 categories and are a coveted industry honor. “Sofi” stands for Specialty Outstanding food Innovation.

Aliseo Blood Orange Juice was selected as Silver finalist in the Cold Beverage category.  We are one of 111 Silver Finalists selected from 1,433 contenders by a national panel of specialty foods experts.  Gold Winners will be announced June 29 at the Summer Fancy Foods Show in New York.
